Origins: Cooked up by Doylie and P Mal after seeing numerous white pointers at their local, early 2006.
Acronymy field report 08/05/2006: Doylie, P Mal, and Marty attended a Parramatta drinking establishment on the evening of Monday 8 May 2006. After several glasses of lemonade, P Mal spotted the individual for whom the term GSON had been coined; she was The Original GSON, or TOGSON. Her friend, the Friend Of The Original GSON, was dubbed FOTOGSON. And the friend's sister was SOFOTOGSON. You get the picture. A good night of acronymy ensued.
Acronymy field report 16/10/2007: On location in tropical Nias Island, Indonesia, Doylie has encountered the Good Old Nias GSON, the GONGSON. Doylie is on the look out for sisters and friends.
